Congratulations Lynne Nickerson
July 2011 HCAHPS Employee of the Month
Lynne Nickerson, Inpatient Mental Health Program Assistant, July’s HCAHPS Employee of the Month’s contributions to patient care is immeasurable according to staff members.
As demonstrated by HCAHPS qualities under the category of “Responsiveness of Staff”, Lynne went above and beyond on behalf of her patient and was directly responsible for saving the patient’s life. Her co-workers state that Lynne is diligent about completing her safety ten-minute checks for our patients. During one of these routine checks, Lynne discovered a patient in a life-threatening situation and immediately intervened to summon help which led to saving the patient’s life.
Her immediate supervisor, Patricia McClennan, says Lynne is very conscientious and remains focused on providing safe prompt care for her patients. “She is a role model to her peers and is frequently responsible for training new program assistants,” said Trish. “Lynne always stops to assist patients and their families with their treatment needs and is really passionate about her work.”
This month, we celebrate Lynne’s distinguished contributions as a supportive team member who embraces all the characteristics of an Employee of the Month!
