November 2008 Employee of the Month

An employee at WCA Hospital since 1989, Linda Holmes, Preregistrar, has proven to be a positive influence on employees, patients, and visitors alike.  Being singled out as the November Employee of the Month only confirms what those close to her know to be true.

“Linda is an asset to the WCA team,” remarked Linda Edington, Patient Access Coordinator.  “Linda provides excellent care with compassion and respect. She has been a professional leader, a teacher and a indispensable guide. She is a extraordinary mentor who brings out the best in others.” Nominations stated, “Linda amazes me with her calm, cool, efficient abilities.  She is a great help to us without seeming to realize how much she accomplishes to make our lives easier.”

Her co-workers have the utmost respect for Linda, saying that she provides a high level of customer service and is a team player who works well with the members of her team. “Linda has deserved this award for a very long time,”
said one co-worker.  “She is truly the glue that holds us together.”
