The first meeting of the newly formed Celiac Disease and Gluten Free Diet Support Group will take place Thursday, January 11 in WCA Hospital, Classroom 4 at 7:00 p.m. Cheryl Harriman, a registered dietitian on staff at WCA will facilitate the meeting. Anyone interested in learning more about the gluten free diet and tips for food preparation is encouraged to attend.

"The gluten free diet is complex and challenging to say the least," says Mrs. Harriman, who offers one on one outpatient nutrition counseling. "We're starting a support group because we have had numerous requests to provide more information and support for people living with Celiac Disease."
