In its continuing vision of providing personalized, trusted care, the Panama Health Center recently expanded hours of business to include an additional day per week, ensuring easy access to care.

“Improving accessibility to primary care is the single most cost-effective strategy for improving healthcare,” said Betsy T. Wright, WCA Hospital President/CEO.  “At WCA, we have taken the leadership role in developing services that further enrich and expand the healthcare in the communities we serve. We also remain focused on our mission of affording continuous primary and preventive care that helps reduce the risk of new health problems and lowers the overall potential cost of healthcare.”

The WCA Hospital Primary Care Centers provide a full spectrum of care including: newborns, pediatrics, preventative medicine, women’s health, geriatrics and treatment of acute and chronic disease.

“Our expanding network of primary care providers makes it very convenient for our patients to access care where they live and work,” said Albert Persia, M.D., board certified family practice physician and Medical Director of the WCA Hospital Primary Care Centers.  “The relationship you have with your primary care provider is fundamental to good overall health and wellness.  The goal of our health centers is to provide optimal convenience in a one-stop primary health care center setting for families and individuals of all ages.”

The Center also provides convenient outpatient laboratory services from 9 a.m. – Noon for anyone with a written order from a physician or healthcare provider. Known for its quaint surroundings, the Center offers ample parking and is handicap accessible.
