Premier Anethesia Announces New Partnership with WCA Hospital
Alpharetta, GA—(Tuesday, December 28, 2010)—Premier Anesthesia has established a new partnership to manage anesthesia services at Women’s Christian Association Hospital (WCA), a 311 bed facility in Jamestown, New York.
Norb Hummel, Executive Vice President, Operations for Premier Anesthesia, remarked on the WCA/Premier partnership. “We are enthusiastic about partnering with the medical staff, administration and employees of WCA Hospital. We have a mutual goal of continuing to provide the excellent healthcare WCA has been offering to the people of Chautauqua County for 125 years, while raising the bar,” Hummel said.
“WCA Hospital has been a vital community asset for 125 years and we believe this relationship will continue to strengthen our ability to provide outstanding, superior care,” said Betsy T. Wright, FACHE, WCA Hospital President/CEO. “We look forward to our partnership with Premier Anesthesia who shares our mission and vision to improve the health and well being of our patients with a continued commitment to clinical excellence.”
Premier Anesthesia’s partnership with WCA began in September, 2010. Together, WCA and Premier are currently working through the transition, meeting with the anesthesia staff, surgeons, administration and OR staff, to ensure Premier’s plan for the anesthesia department is in alignment with the hospital’s vision, mission and goals. A Peri-Operative Task Force has been implemented to draft the plan, which will set OR and Anesthesia Services goals for 2011 and outline strategies and tactics to meet those goals.
“WCA and Premier Anesthesia share the values of dedication to excellence, the highest commitment to quality service to our patients and a focus on financial performance to ensure future strength and growth,” said Hummel. “We won’t be satisfied until we exceed their expectations.”
“We are very pleased to welcome Premier Anesthesia to WCA Hospital,” said Marlene Garone, M.D., WCA Hospital Vice President of Medical Affairs. “From our initial discussions, it was evident that Premier’s philosophy of the highest quality care delivery paired with quality customer service is in line with the goals of our programs.”
