Congratulations Therese Tilling
April 2009 Employee of the Month

Described as the epitome of what a nurse should be, nominees said Therese Tilling, 3B Senior Staff Nurse, should be nominated as April's Employee of the Month because she exemplifies all the characteristics of a great nurse!

Therese, who joined the WCA family three years ago, is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations on the 3B nursing unit. "Her friendly, welcoming attitude demonstrates quality customer service to all," said one colleague who nominated her for the award. "Her response is always very reassuring to our staff no matter what the situation and her critical thinking skills are evident in the daily practice of working with staff and physicians throughout the organization."

"Therese is an outstanding nurse and leader," said Pamela Meurer, R.N., 3B Nurse Manager. "She has very high standards for herself and her staff. She is an excellent mentor - teaching while working with the staff. She always has the "Can Do" attitude. Her philosophy is always treat our patients as if they were your family. Often seen sitting with patients and families, Therese is respected by all. She truly is someone you would want to take care of your loved one."
